CVC - Simulator

The trainer provides training in three main skills: puncture safely, avoid possible complications and place the catheter in the right position. The simulator has three different, exchangeable puncture pads. One is made of soft, tissue like material that provides a realistic feeling when the needle is inserted; the second pad is transparent and can be used for catheter placement and for general explanation or anatomical understanding. The third one is for ultrasound guided training and has the same structures except the subclavian vessels. If an artery is punctured a control light will indicate the wrong position. The model has anatomical landmarks and structures, the veins can be filled with artificial blood. Supplied with circulation pump and storage case.
