Ultrasound trainer

This model gives the opportunity to learn the use of an ultrasound machine.

It represents a human chest with internal organs. It can be used with any ordinary ultrasound machine. Additional this trainer is supplied with a dissectible 20 part anatomical model which is identical with the organs inside the trainer. This allows the student to compare the anatomical model with the ultrasound picture he has on the screen. Due to this the trainer gives the opportunity to realise the relation of the ultrasound image to the 3 dimensional anatomy directly while scanning and improve the ultrasound skills. Additional to the organs shown in the anatomical model the ultrasound model includes chest bones, ribs and lungs. The anatomical models consists of: Liver (8 segments) Inferior vena cava Pancreas Cholecystis Spinal column Right kidney Spleen Large and small intestine Abdominal aorta Left kidney Portal vein, Bile duct, Hepatic artery Hepatic veins Stomach All organs are based on real human organs, the material gives a realistic ultrasound image.
